ABOUT THE ARTIST
Laura Trimble Elbogen is a lifelong artist who first learned to sketch as a child in Indiana tagging along in her grandmother’s art studio. She polished her artistic eye as an art history major at Princeton. She gained expertise in etiquette and style from years of competitive tennis, as well as fashion and design life at kate spade, Brooks Brothers, and Richard Meier & Partners Architects. She spent four years at the Center for Architecture starting up Archtober, Architecture and Design Month in New York City. She has designed landmark artwork for clients from San Francisco to New York, Hilton Head, and the Netherlands. She paints from her sunny home studio in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, where she lives with her husband and two children.
